Levi came to see if we had a hole in the roof, which was causing a leak when it rained. He determined the roof to be in good condition. However, the culprit is erosion of the sealant around the AC outlet. Levi did not charge me for the visit. He is the most professional and pleasant expert in this field. When we need a new roof in the future, this will be the company we choose. I'll also post the name on our neighbor site. Anneke I need to add this: The next day after Levi's inspection, another Roof Buddy tech showed up. He climbed on our roof, fixed the seal, and again, no charge! This is not only wonderful service, but human kindness!Posted on Google
Jennifer MSeptember 29, 2026We had a very informative consultation with Jose about our problematic roof. He arrived right on time and was extremely professional and thorough! Clear communication and understanding seem to be a high priority going forward to minimize surprise costs. Highly recommend RoofBuddy and Jose to anyone looking for honest and reliable roofing advice.Posted on Google
T.k. KSeptember 27, 2026Jose came to inspect our roof and was SO great. He explained and pointed out every thing we had an idea of needing done and also some things we didn't realize were problematic. He was very patient with our questions and went step by step making sure we understood the process before making a decision. In the end, we decided to move forward and have Roof Buddy take care of our house because we feel from the interaction with Jose that they are reliable and trustworthy.+0Posted on Google

James PSeptember 22, 2026Found Roof Buddy through the Tim Conway Jr. radio program. Levi came out and provided a fair estimate and was on site numerous times throughout the process. The crew, Marcus, Sam and Brian were in constant contact during the process. The job was completed in reasonable time. We can now sleep well knowing our roof can handle all that "El Nino" can bring.+1Posted on Google

Jessica TJuly 28, 2026We had a great experience working with Roof Buddy on our home improvement project. They replaced our roof, repaired and painted the exterior with Cool Life, and installed new windows throughout our entire house. The quality of the work exceeded our expectations, and the entire team was professional from start to finish. Samantha took the time to sit down with us and thoroughly explained the entire process. She was patient, knowledgeable, and made sure we understood what to expect every step of the way. Marcus also kept us informed with timely updates on the progress of each phase of the project. Dr. JJuly 16, 2026I had Roof Buddy come out for a roof inspection since I’d been looking to get my roof replaced. We got quotes from several contractors, but Roof Buddy stood out as the most transparent, clearly explaining every step of the process. Daniel was extremely knowledgeable during both the inspection and the presentation. he was the only contractor who actually went into my attic to check things out. The project itself was completed in just 4 days, and the pricing was very fair. I’d definitely recommend Roof Buddy to anyone looking to get their roof done.Posted on Google
Eli EJuly 16, 2026I’m not usually one for reviews, but this was the first time I had truly exceptional communication with a project manager. Daniel was outstanding throughout the entire job, from the initial inspection to checking the roof and attic, which other roofers didn’t do. He also took the time to explain everything in detail, providing a comprehensive overview of the scope of work. The crew was incredibly friendly and respectful of our property. They cleaned up thoroughly and worked efficiently to meet my expectations. I highly recommend them without hesitation. I’m already planning to bring Daniel back to provide us with a paint estimate next. He mentioned that they offer a wide range of services beyond roofing, but their primary focus is on general contracting and full remodeling. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️+0Posted on Google

While the overall project had its challenges that took time to resolve, I am pleased with the final result and would still recommend this company based on the high quality of work delivered by Marcus. I do want to note, however, that there are a few minor painting touch-ups remaining that we still need to address, and I look forward to getting those finalized soon."Posted on Google
Natali NJune 7, 2026I’m not the one for reviews but this was the first time I really had great communication with a project manager. Daniel was phenomenal throughout the whole job from the first inspection to checking the roof and attic which other roofers did not. To sitting down and explaining everything to a full scope of work. The crew was very nice and respectful of our place. They cleaned up and worked in a timely manner to my needs. I would recommend them again and again. Marsha SMay 5, 2026Roof Buddy (RB) did an excellent job re-roofing our home. They were very professional, responsive to our needs and concerns throughout the work, and had friendly field and office staff working on the project. Houman L., who provided a good explanation of the company, their product, expected workmanship, and typical project timeline provided us the confidence in retaining RB as our roofing contractor. Paul B., our Project Manager, was very friendly and easy to work with who also kept us fully informed of the project schedule from demolition, city inspections, roofing installation work to final completion. The project schedule was met to our satisfaction. The final outcome of the project was impressive knowing that our roof is an upgrade, solid, and ready for a potential wet winter. Joshua MMarch 18, 2026We had an excellent experience with Roof Buddy from start to finish. Levi, Sam, and team were professional, punctual, and communicated clearly throughout the entire project. What really stood out was their integrity and commitment to quality—when unexpected issues came up with an incident with some old unknown stucco and we ran into unplanned problems with mounts for our solar panels, they handled everything without hesitation and absorbed the additional costs. It’s rare to find a company that stands behind their work like that. They didn’t cut corners or try to pass the problem onto us—they just made it right. The final result looks fantastic, and we feel confident in the durability of our roof. If you’re looking for a reliable, honest roofing company that truly cares about their customers, I highly recommend them and would not hesitate to recommend them to my friends and family and also use them in the future.+5Posted on Google

Fox1584March 4, 2026I highly recommend Roof Buddy services to anyone needing to get a new roof. Good price and good service. My roof was 17 years old and started to leak. David Kohanzad and Houman Laaly helped me get everything set up. They answered all my inquiries and went over all the details of the work that would be required to put my mind at ease. After organizing everything (inspection, materials, delivery, scheduling, etc.), it only took two days to remove the old roof and install a new one. Just in time, because it started raining the week after. A good quality assurance test. Sat in my attic for 20 minutes and there were no leaks. I posted the before and after photos of my roof. The old one had the scoop vents sticking out, while the new one has the flat and more flush type vents. Fun fact, Roof Buddy does more than just roofs. In a couple of weeks, I’m getting a bathroom window swapped out and a new bathroom ceiling put in since the rain damaged the old one. I also have a 50-year warranty on my roof. So, if you need a roof and/or more home projects completed and looking for a good, quick, and trustworthy service, give them a call.+10Posted on Google

Most of my interactions were with Houmann Laaly, who was friendly, professional, and never pushy. He gave a clear, informative presentation and worked hard to get the price within my budget. Throughout the project he stayed in great contact and made everything feel easy and stress-free. I also spoke with Marcus, who was also very friendly, easy to reach, and always helpful. Nita GDecember 1, 2025Our home needed a new roof and a new air condition which was on the roof. But we didn't want the new air conditioner to be installed on the roof. A couple of years ago a neighbor had their roof replaced and I was impressed with the obvious quality, so I asked the gentleman for his business card. I'm so glad I called Roof Buddy. They responded quickly and sent out their area representative, Jose who is an incredibly knowledgeable young man. Jose was respectful, patient, considerate, friendly. Jose came to our home and thoroughly inspected the roof, took measurements and pictures. Jose showed us samples of their Owens Corning Shingles that we really liked. Jose devised a plan of action to accomplish all the work that needed to be done. We gave Jose the ok to start the job and Jose and his staff kept us informed as to what was happening and when it would happen. Everything went as planned and now my wife and I are so glad and happy that Jose and Roof Buddy replaced our roof and air conditioner and we also added seamless rain gutters. What a difference in security and appearance of our home. The day the roof was finished a huge storm with rain and wind came in the middle of October and lasted a couple of days. Our new roof was severely tested and it passed with flying colors! So happy and dry! Thank You again to "Roof Buddy" and their staff and "Jose" my new "Marine" friend. OORAH!!! Love my roof!!! The roof turned out perfect, and Daniel went above and beyond to make sure everything met my expectations. I highly recommend Daniel and Roof Buddy to anyone in Los Angeles looking for a reliable, high-quality roofing experience. We also met up for sushi after the project as we were talking about our trip to Japan and how we loved fish and sushi the professional way so we went to Omasake! :)+1Posted on Yelp

Jenn WAugust 1, 2025We were ready to get our roof replaced and made an appointment with Ari and Kia to get estimates. They were prompt, friendly, and very knowledgeable. Throughout the project they checked in on the work, with great communication, honesty and professionalism. They treated us like family. We received a call from a project manager, giving us details when the Redbox (for demolition) was going to be dropped and when the job was scheduled to start. The demolition crew of about 5, cleaned up after themselves, making sure there wasn't any debris on the ground. We really appreciated it that because we have a dog. They kept us in the loop regarding the city inspections so we knew when to expect the workers to return and everything passed without question. The job ended with a final cleanup crew coming in to make sure there was nothing left behind and they did an excellent job. We are so happy with the job ABI Construction a.k.a Roof Buddy did and highly recommend them.+1Posted on Yelp
Sandy LJune 30, 2025We're so happy my aunt referred us to ABI Construction. We had reached out to other companies just to compare. ABI's pricing was very reasonable, and their professionalism and customer service really stood out. We met with Murphy, PM - super professional, knowledgeable, and attentive guy. He put us right at ease, walked us through the entire process, and answered all our questions. We felt reassured that they are fully licensed and insured, use high quality materials, and offer a 25-year warranty. Murphy made our experience seamless, and the job was done beautifully. Thank you Murphy & ABI! Would highly recommend!Posted on Yelp
Denise CJune 30, 2025We went with ABI Construction after seeing they have a verified license shown on yelp. As an engineer, I understand that having a C39 Roofing license is very important. Murphy came to our place and provided a reasonable price for the type of company they are. They are professional, and have actually been in the business for over 30 years. Doesn't make sense to me going with a lower priced new roofing company who offers 25 year warranties. You can tell ABI Construction stands behind their work and other than pricing, to me thats what matters the most.Posted on Yelp
Jenny KJune 29, 2025My neighbor referred me to ABI Construction and I couldn't be any happier with the experience. We had an appointment with Murphy and he was extremely professional, detail-oriented, and reliable. He took the time to explain each step of the process. Murphy was respectful in our home and still insisted on checking in our attic for anything he missed even though it was 90 degrees that day. (must've been 100+ in the attic!) The whole project went smoothly and I finally have the peace of mind from any leaks in the next 30+ years. I'm glad I took my neighbor's advice and will be recommending to anyone looking for dependable and high quality construction work!Posted on Yelp
Marin HJune 8, 2025In an era where genuine professionalism and attentive customer service can feel like relics of the past, ABI distinguishes itself as a rare and refreshing exception. From the outset, they demonstrated a level of professionalism, transparency, and meticulous attention to detail. My calls were answered immediately, my questions were met with thoughtful, thorough responses, and every interaction reflected a deep respect for the client experience. There was never a moment in which I felt like "just another customer"; rather, I was treated as a respected partner in the process, with the kind of care and clarity that signals both deep expertise and sincere regard for the people they serve. I don't offer praise lightly, but ABI has earned it in full. In a marketplace increasingly dominated by expediency, they operate with a rare combination of integrity, experience, and true craftsmanship. I would work with them again without hesitation, and would recommend them without reservation.Posted on Yelp
Charles MJune 7, 2025Murphy recently came to inspect my Lola's roof since it was due for replacing. Would recommend for any house project!Posted on Yelp
Angelina LJune 7, 2025We reached out to ABI because our roof had a leak. Murphy, the Project Manager, was very responsive, professional and paid great attention to detail. He listened to all of our requests and quoted us at a very reasonable cost for the Bay Area. It was important to us to have a licensed contractor that has a great warranty because a new roof is a huge and important investment. We didn't want to go with an unlicensed contractor with the risk of them doing the work quickly and not up to standards which could lead to even worse problems. Murphy is knowledgeable in the overall process and answered all our questions and he was transparent and very thorough. We were able to get the install scheduled quickly and the roof looks great! I'd rate ABI and Murphy a 10/10 and would highly recommend to anyone.Posted on YelpElizabeth VJune 6, 2025I recently hired ABI Construction to come out to ny home and replace our old roof that was way overdue. Christopher CJanuary 15, 2025Amazing construction company. Had them replace my roof in early December. They not only had the job done in 4 days, but it was done in a total of 9 hours of total work time. The delay for that 4 day period was only to get the permits cleared and materials delivered. otherwise they would have been able to do the job in 1 day. They clean up everything as they go and when they are done, you would never even know they were there. Roof came out amazing. Very very satisfied with this company. Highly recommended.+3Posted on YelpChris SJanuary 4, 2025I recently had my roof replaced and after a few bids I decided to go with ABI construction. I made an appointment for a quote and Samantha came over, right on time, to look at the project and right away I felt at ease talking to her and voicing my questions and concerns. She Drew up the contract and explained how the team would start the job. Eddie was in touch with me the following Monday and explained when the crew would be here to begin the project. The first crew arrived At 8:00 a.m. Edgar was there to introduce himself and ask me if I had any concerns or questions before the job started. They brought a large trailer to put all the debris to be taken away. This step took only one day. The next day was replacing the wood as needed. Then all the new material was brought to the house and taken up on the roof by conveyor so it was ready for the inspector to sign off. Then they could begin the final step. The next day the finishing crew started and they put three layers of material to seal off the roof, and nail down the shingles, and they cleaned up after themselves each day. Lina ADecember 23, 2024Update: Very satisfied with Abi Construction's work. Great quality and attention to detail!+1Posted on YelpAlf JDecember 6, 2024ABI replaced my roof and did a great job. The crew was diligent, careful and competent. I was most impressed with the level of care and attention to detail the supervisory staff took during the project. They were in contact with me at every stage of the project explaining next steps, timeframes and any issues (weather, city inspector schedules, etc). The roof replacement went without any angst or issues. Great job, great peoplePosted on Yelp
Barb EDecember 6, 2024My husband and I were very happy with ABI Construction's handling of our new roof installation . The whole process made us nervous but the people at ABI were always prompt to answer texts and phone calls which I consider very important when a large sum of money is involved. The project coordinator answered numerous texts promptly, even during 'off hours,' and made us feel like he cared. The crews showed up when they said they would. Another big bonus in today's world! We would highly recommend this company for anyone who is thinking about a new roof.Posted on YelpAmie JNovember 20, 2024ABI Construction provided outstanding service from start to finish! Abel, the field supervisor, was particularly impressive. He managed the entire roofing project with exceptional skill and professionalism. Abel was always available to answer our questions, ensuring we were informed and comfortable with each step of the process. His attention to detail and commitment to quality were evident in the flawless finished roof. We couldn't be happier with the result and highly recommend ABI Construction and Abel for any roofing needs!+0Posted on Yelp
Mark RNovember 5, 2024I did not end up using ABI Construction for my roofing project, however, I got a very thorough quote and inspection from Daniel and Brian. These guys took their time to inspect the roof, explained the issues, and also went into my attic (which no other company did). They showed me footage of how the leaks I had were impacting my chimney and other parts of my ceiling. I appreciated their honesty and thoroughness.Posted on Yelp
Tuan NOctober 22, 2024Brian Tizabgar arrived after my mom requested a quote on roof work. Thank you so much!Posted on YelpRosanne MSeptember 18, 2024I reached out to ABI for a new roof. They came out assessed our roof and shared various options. We were assigned a work lead and an office manager. Anytime I had questions I received an immediate response. The work was done over several days and the crew cleaned the area after each days work. I received an upgraded roof with an excellent warranty. We are very happy with the work and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.Posted on YelpGeorge LSeptember 15, 2024This review is based on an estimate provided by Dan and Chris on Sunday, September 15, 2024. They arrived on time at 3pm and concluded at 5pm. They were very thorough and professional in assessing all aspects of my 30+ year old pitched and flat roof areas. They were very knowledgeable in their review, and the options offered on materials and scope, leaving me with a detailed scope and estimate. I have a very high confidence level in the abilities of their company.Posted on Yelp
Live LSeptember 11, 2024We have been waiting a long time to finally take care of our house's exterior wall which was dirty and dated. The sales person Houman gave such an in-depth and educational presentation that really was an eye opener to the type of protection and durability paint could be. So while the investment was more than we had planned, they offered payment plans which made it affordable. During the whole process there were many people involved but communication was always well streamed between their field and office team. Marcus always texted me updates and responded quick. The painters were very respectful to our property, covered our stuff, cleaned up well, and always notified us when they arrived or were leaving. They took every concern and request of ours to heart to make sure we were 100% satisfied. We never had to worry about needing to pay more to get things done right. The father-son project manager duo gave us great advice throughout the process and came almost every time to check on the workmanship. We even decided at last minute to replace an old door and while there was a little hiccup on that installation, we were very happy with how they resolved it in the end to make it look the way we wanted. Overall I feel very confident in recommending ABI Construction to you if you plan to stay in your house for a while because of the peace of mind and the life-time guarantee that I'll never need to paint or repair the walls again : ) Thanks guys @ ABI!+2Posted on BBB

*** did a fantastic job in replacing the tile on my roof. The old, existing tile had been there since the 40s and was in dire need of replacement. The salesmen, ****** and **** walked us through the process of how their team would do the work, the timelines, and provided a very fair price. Once we signed the contract, they began the work and within a short time, were onsite and doing the work. Their roof team was professional, clean, and prompt. They changed out old, rotted wood, laid down all new material, and installed the tiles very efficiently and without issue. We are so happy with the work *** did, we recommended them to all of our neighbors and friends.Posted on YelpRigo RSeptember 6, 2024Samantha was very kind, knowledgeable and reliable when discussing new roof plans. I would definitely recommend them for any home improvement projects. They were great at keeping us up to date and informed on roofing status. Very response to questions. Great follow through and follow up. Everything discussed in meeting was what actually happened, no surprises.+1Posted on BBBJodie MAugust 12, 2024It was a pleasure working with ABI construction! They replaced my damaged roof from years of wear and tear after a bad experience with a former roofer. They stand by their work and offered a great warranty. They were on top of the install and updated me every step of the way. Not only was pricing incredibly competitive, but the service was exceptional. Big thank you to **** who coordinated the schedule, and to ***** who frequently visited the project to make sure all was going smoothly. Will definitely call *** for our next project in the house!Posted on Yelp

Janice HMay 16, 2024I usually am not the one to post reviews but OMG these contractors were spectacular. I had the pleasure of meeting with Daniel the commercial representative of the company. They went around my home and did a full on spot check. They got on top of my roof which 4 other contractors didn't and tried to use a drone they said. They said my roof was very old and that it was going to cost me. After meeting these gentleman I didn't call that guy back as he was charging too much and I didn't like how he treated me. These boys even checked my attic. Daniel went all the way in and checked it all for me to make sure I was okay. Daniel and Brian were fantastic as they explained everything to me thoroughly and they are very knowledge and patient with everything. They even explained everything back to my grandson because I wanted to make sure. I highly recommend Daniel and Brian as your next contractors. #1+0Posted on YelpDenise OMay 8, 2024I recently called ABI Construction to replace my 20 year old roof on my home and I couldn't be happier with the results. First off want to say when Ari showed up Initially to inspect my roof he was so thorough. Checked on top of my roof and my attic. I had 5 other quotes but none of the guys were as thorough as Ari. What I liked is that he noticed my flat roof section in the back was newer and still in good shape so he actually told me I didn't need to do that section. Where most guys would just try to sell me on it to make more money. Ari was honest and very consultative. The team at ABI Construction payed attention to every detail to ensure the job was done right. The quality of their work was exceptional, and I can now rest easy knowing that my roof is in top-notch condition. I would highly recommend Ari and ABI Construction to anyone in need of roofing services. And since I had Ari at my house anyway me and my husband asked him for a paint quote as well. Wow was I amazed at this product cool life. We had a lot of wood damage and stucco damage on our house. And the product he demonstrated for us was unbelievable. Definitely better than regular paint. Plus it comes with a lifetime warranty. Price was very competitive to normal paint job. Love how vibrant the color is. Now with a new roof and my house painted with cool life I actually get excited to pull up to the driveway after work. Thank you Ari!+2Posted on YelpWilliam AMay 1, 2024This company really did a terrific job! Daniel and Brian made sure everything was completed to the companies specifications and what they promised. The work crews arrived on time and were great in all phases of the job. The clean up was done perfectly. We are very happy we had ABI Construction as a contractor. If you need a roof replaced this is the company to use!!!+1Posted on YelpMelinda AMay 1, 2024I hired Abi Construction after going on yelp and seeing the reviews I did like Daniel and Brian's review so I called specially for them. They came on time and had materials to show which the other roofers did not. They were one of the only ones who actually didn't just check the attic but actually got inside and went all the way to take pictures to show my husband and I. I highly recommend them as they have fair prices and great value. I hired Daniel and Brian for my other projects of home as they are now doing the painting on my exterior and can't wait for the final result. They have great knowledge and expertise is this business and they come very clean and professional. I have owned 5 homes in 63 years and dealt with many contractors but these boys really brought joy to me while getting my work done.+1Posted on YelpDeborah WApril 29, 2024I chose ABI CONSTRUCTION to replace my roof after getting 2 other quotes. The cost was slightly higher than the other two companies. But, I was more concerned with quality of work and no add on costs after work started. ABI did exactly as promised on the contract and more. MARCUS MALO was my Production Manager and did an excellent job of keeping me informed as to what was going on and who would be working on my roof. We were in constant contact as the project progressed. In my opinion and experience with this company and of course MARCUS MALO, I would most definitely recommend ABI CONSTRUCTION. Their quality of work and attention to the customer is exceptional. Thank you ABI and Marcus Malo for a job well done.+0Posted on YelpJuna CApril 22, 2024Called ABI for my roof, they sent out Kia and Ari they were very thorough and professional! I'm excited to have my roof done finally !!!+0Posted on BBBJeff OFebruary 2, 2024From start to finish, our new roof project with ABI Construction has exceeded our expectations. Everything was clearly explained and handled on our behalf. We never had to worry about a thing and that alone was worth it. Their bid was competitive but the real advantage they have is their insurance and comprehensive coverage. We never had to worry about surprise costs or accidents. Everyone we interacted with was professional and knowledgeable. A special shout out to ********** for being a rock star and the one who ultimately convinced us to go with ***. Her personality and knowledge is unmatched - *** is lucky to have a representative like her working for them. We were so happy we went with this company for our project, and we will certainly call them again in the future.Posted on BBB
